A total of 12,214 property owners out of 13,776 in Bayan Baru, Seberang Jaya and George Town have obtained their strata titles from the Penang Development Corporation (PDC). Penang Public Account Committee chairman Datuk Hilmi Abdul Rashid said this when visiting the PDC yesterday. Hilmi said another 1,463 applications had also been submitted to the Land and Mines Department for approval. “Out of PDC’s 49 projects comprising 13,773 units, only 99 property owners’ applications have yet to be submitted to the department for strata titles,” he said.
