Four out of five housing projects abandoned since 1999 revived 02/05/2002 NST
April 30: Five housing and industrial projects were reported to have been abandoned in Malacca since 1999 and they involve some 3,143 units and 1,418 buyers. However, four have been revived and works are expected to resume soon.

IPOH: The Housing and Local Government Ministry submitted last month its first report to the Cabinet on local authorities that have not issued certificates of fitness (CFs) within 14 days. Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting said, however, the names of the errant local authorities had not been included in the report so as to give them another chance to buck up.
