Like many other buyers, I was attracted by the attractively priced link house and bought a unit. I REFER to the comments on open spaces (NST, Aug 22). It is incorrect to say that house buyers own the open spaces in their housing estates as the open spaces are considered State land being surrendered by the applicant/developer upon the approval of the project.
