Residents don’t have a clue how fees are utilised
The Star 30/3/2005

I REFER to the letter, “Govt should step in to sort out bungled running of condo”, (The Star, March 11) and fully agree with the writer.

I have been staying in a condominium in Klang for six years and have been paying the monthly service charge promptly.

But sad to say, the condition of the condominium has been deteriorating through the years and we do not know where our funds have been channelled to.

No income and expense statement has been shown to the residents. Though the condominium welfare committee which represents the residents has approached the management on many occasions, it has turned a deaf ear to our problems.

Our welfare committee has also approached the housing department and the local council but nothing seems to have to been done.

I hope the Government or Land Office could step in to help promote a healthy, clean and trustworthy neighbourhood for all condominium owners.

FRUSTRATED,
Klang.
