Property developers are urged to give up-to-date reports to the National Property Information Centre (Napic) to enable accurate assessment of the current property trend.

Penang Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon said the in- formation was crucial to enable Napic to produce accurate property market reports in its quarterly publication.

Dr Koh was speaking at the Real Estate and Housing Developers Association Malay-sia (Rehda) Penang chapter dinner at Shangri-La Hotel re-cently.

He said such information would help the authorities formulate strategies for future housing plans.

With such information, the chief minister said, develo- pers could work out better marketing plans and implement the right type of projects for the target groups.

He also said Redha had managed to overcome so many challenges in the past.

“We would like to see Rehda and the other players in the housing industry reach greater heights,” he said
