Star, Aug 14), from DM of Petaling Jaya.
My wife and I decided to make Malaysia our second home two years ago. We
looked around and finally bought a house in Subang Jaya.

for the Long-Stay programme, Hoshino Kyo.

KUALA LUMPUR: A one-stop centre has been set up to expedite applications for
the Malaysia My Second Home programme.
Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, who launched the
centre located at Menara Dato’ Onn in Putra World Trade Centre, here,
yesterday, said the ministry wanted to make it simpler for foreigners to
take up the programme.

MALACCA: Energy-saving houses are the way to go to minimise utility
costs and a couple living here under the Malaysia My Second Home Programme
are showing just how to do it. Harry Boswell, 71, and Stephanie Bacon, 64, from Cambridgeshire, England,
have a 260 square metre, single-storey house with four air-conditioners
running 24 hours a day at 24°C and it costs them only RM2 a day to run the
units.

again. This time it was for the wrong reason. Religious enforcement
officers were reported to have raided the apartment of a non-Muslim foreign
couple in Langkawi. The horrified couple said they were reconsidering plans
to take part in the MM2H.
